The Trump administration unveiled a $600 billion investment framework with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing technological development and infrastructure. President Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman forged a strategic economic partnership, primarily driven by private sector initiatives. Notably, Saudi DataVolt will invest $20 billion in AI data centers in the U.S., while American firms, including Google and Oracle, pledged $80 billion towards transformative technologies. Google Cloud's contribution will pave the way for constructing an AI hub in Dammam, greatly enhancing business operations in the Middle East and potentially creating 11,000 jobs in the U.S. by 2040.
We are proud of this partnership for a global AI hub that will accelerate the application of AI to deliver innovation, economic growth and societal benefits to Saudi Arabia and to global companies doing business in the region.
Google Cloud specified in a press release that its $10 billion investment will work in conjunction with Saudi technology company Humain to construct an AI hub.
