""He has got television under his belt now. He's done Virgin Media, so he's got television experience. He's obviously got lots of radio experience. I presume that [The Late Late] was factored into his thinking. I'm sure it's one of his main goals and If you're not aspiring for that [The Late Late] you would be limiting yourself," he added."
Kieran Cuddihy, a solicitor-turned-reporter, is leaving his Newstalk show and Virgin Media's The Tonight Show to become presenter of Liveline on RTÉ Radio 1. His recent television experience, combined with extensive radio work, strengthens prospects for greater roles on RTÉ, including potential consideration for The Late Late Show. Cuddihy is noted to have limited light-entertainment experience. RTÉ has recently seen several high-profile presenter changes and departures.
