Prep & Landing: Snowball Protocol centers on an elite team of elves who ready millions of homes for Santa. Dave Foley returns as Wayne, an elf who battles the urge to be bitter but remains cheerful. Sarah Chalke and Derek Richardson reprise their roles, while newcomers Dulcé Sloan, Danny Pudi and Manny Jacinto expand the ensemble. Jacinto described voiceover work with Disney as enjoyable. The episode adopts an anthology format, sending characters into varied worlds, seasons and even vacations.
