Nori Reed returns to the Bay Area to headline Club Fugazi as part of the Cheeky Summer Tour, marking her first local headlining appearance since relocating to Los Angeles in 2019. Reed began her career in Oakland after growing up in Kentucky, hosting the monthly showcase Man Haters and appearing at Outside Lands, SF Sketchfest, and Clusterfest. Reed's stand-up centers on identity and cross-cultural, intersectional experiences shaped by Bay Area diversity. Reed has written for CBS's After Midnight, served as story editor on Hulu's Standing By, and created Disney Channel's first live-action trans character on Raven's Home, earning GLAAD and Emmy nominations. Stand-up highlights include Showtime, HBO Max, Netflix Is A Joke Festival, Belly Laughs, Clusterfest, and Outside Lands, with recognition from SF Weekly and Vulture.
It feels amazing,
I love the Bay Area so much, and I can't wait to bring back some laughter and much-needed joy during this really difficult time.
A lot of my material deals with identity and cross-cultural, intersectional experiences, which is very Bay Area,
It is an incredible place in the world where you have the privilege of interacting with so many diverse people.
It's always wonderful to be noticed. I lost both, though, so ... a two-time loser, huh?
