"Street Fighter: The Animated Series is back in stock and discounted to $35 (was $40) on Amazon. Discotek Media's Blu-ray edition of the '90s animated TV adaptation launched back in May but was sold out for months on Amazon. Street Fighter isn't the only Capcom franchise with a fresh Blu-ray release of a classic '90s cartoon. Earlier this week, Discotek launched Darkstalkers: The Complete Series and Mega Man: The Complete Series."
"Street Fighter: The Animated Series was surprisingly faithful to the source material, and despite being a family-friendly Saturday Morning cartoon, it still features plenty of action. The show takes a GI Joe-inspired approach to its storyline. With M. Bison's Shadaloo crime syndicate threatening the world, Guile puts together a team of elite world warriors like Chun-Li, Blanka, Ryu, and more to take him down."
"Mega Man: The Complete Series Discotek has brought back a bunch of classic cartoons and anime on Blu-ray in recent years, including a number of series with strong ties to video games. One of the most popular Discotek Blu-rays is Digimon The Movies 1-3 Collection, which restores the uncut versions of the first three short films with English and Japanese audio."
Street Fighter: The Animated Series Blu-ray is available again on Amazon for $35 after selling out following its May release by Discotek Media. Discotek also released Darkstalkers: The Complete Series and Mega Man: The Complete Series on Blu-ray, priced at $33 and $38 respectively. The Street Fighter Blu-ray includes episode commentaries with FGC guests, intro storyboards, an art gallery, a meme compilation, and game-inspired menus. The animated series follows Guile assembling global fighters to stop M. Bison's Shadaloo, balancing faithful game elements, action, and toy-driven marketing. Discotek has similarly restored and released other game-tied classics like Digimon movies.
