"There's not a long history of world series wins but we're here, and we're ready to see them take one."
Blue Jays fans have converged on Seattle for Games 3 and 4 as the team faces elimination after falling behind 0-2 in the best-of-seven series. Supporters traveled from Calgary, Edmonton and Dallas to cheer the club and to hope for a momentum-shifting win Wednesday. Several fans expressed confidence in starting pitcher Shane Bieber and praised the ballpark atmosphere as favorable. Two consecutive losses to the Mariners have dampened some enthusiasm but others remained determined and energized. The Blue Jays must win four of the next five games, with three upcoming contests on the road, to continue their championship run.
