Before Andor's first episode even premiered, Star Wars fans already knew Cassian Andor's fate. And yet, his 24-episode journey from a lowly smuggler to a hero of the Rebellion was still the greatest Star Wars story told on screen since Rogue One in 2018.
Even more admirable? Tony Gilroy's design to connect this Star Wars prequel series back to the prequel film is the smoothest transition I've ever seen for a franchise of this size. Fan service? Never heard of it.
In the season 2 finale, General Draven informs Andor that they've received an urgent message from one of their informants. It's Tivik who says that he'll only talk to Andor, who immediately reads the situation as a potential trap.
