The festival, taking place at Hotel X, aims to appeal to a wider audience. Former CMW president Neill Dixon resolved a legal dispute with the new owners and will receive a lifetime achievement award during the event.
While once catering almost solely to the music industry, this year’s Departure Festival expands its programming to include standup comedy, fashion, and technology.
