Backpacking through four European countries took place over a tight schedule, visiting six cities in just two weeks. Each stop was limited to 24 to 48 hours, leading to feelings of regret for not experiencing more in-depth exploration. The traveler used various modes of transportation, including flights and trains, with a total of 60 hours in transit. While the desire was to maximize the experience, the fast pace left a craving for more immersion in each city, particularly in places like Berlin, Vienna, and Rome.
Two weeks in Europe felt like a race against time. Each city visit was limited to 48 hours, barely allowing enough time to explore each destination.
Once there, I realized I only got a sampling of what each destination had to offer. 48 hours isn't enough time to explore a city.
