An unruly passenger aboard an All Nippon Airways flight from Tokyo to Houston caused panic when he attempted to open an emergency door midair. Fellow travelers and crew restrained him using zip ties as the plane made an emergency landing in Seattle. The incident began early Saturday morning when the man, who was reportedly experiencing a medical crisis, jumped up midflight. After landing, he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, while a second unruly passenger was also removed before takeoff.
The agitated man, who officials say was experiencing a medical crisis, was removed from the plane shortly after landing at the Seattle airport around 6:19 a.m. and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Two veterans jumped into action when panic erupted. They brought him back to the seat and they actually sat him down and zip-tied him to the seats.
