Gaurav Jaisingh, a senior finance student at Bentley University, died after accidentally falling from a balcony during a senior class trip to the Bahamas. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in his hotel room on Paradise Island. Jaisingh was found unresponsive and later died from his injuries en route to the hospital. Bentley University expressed condolences and stated they would provide support for those affected by the tragedy, which occurred just days before the undergraduate commencement ceremony.
Emergency responders took Jaisingh to the hospital, but he died from his injuries on the way there, according to the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
