Artsem Sadardzinau, 30, from Rutland, faces conspiracy charges for allegedly being tasked to set fire to a Ukrainian-registered vehicle. He reportedly discovered a Russian language website containing a 'car arson' section that facilitates unlawful activities. Through the website and messaging app Telegram, he was instructed to locate a Ukrainian vehicle, send video evidence to his tasker, confirm the target, and commit arson for monetary compensation. Prosecutors are investigating whether the case falls under the National Security Act. Sadardzinau pleaded not guilty, claiming no intention to carry out the offense. Counter Terrorism Policing London confirmed no wider public threat exists.
