In the Czech Republic, a family of three, including a 22-year-old posing as a dentist, operated a fully equipped dental clinic without a license. They treated numerous patients using online-sourced skill and materials, generating 4 million Czech koruna in revenue. The group faces serious charges, including illegal business operation and money laundering. Despite their crimes, they previously held clean records and have been provisionally released after pleading guilty. The incident underscores ongoing issues in the Czech dental sector, exacerbated by a dentist shortage and recent legislative changes easing foreign dentist employment.
