"Go-Ahead London operates more than 2,500 buses across 170 routes in the capital, carrying over one million passengers per day. With 1,000 zero-emission buses now in service, almost half of the operator's routes are fully served by zero-emission vehicles (40 percent). Go-Ahead has plans to convert its entire fleet of 5,000 UK buses to zero emission vehicles by 2035. Zero-emission buses exceeded 2,500 units (+62%) in 2025 as UK market posts 17-year high."
"Zero-emission operations at Go-Ahead London began more than 12 years ago. Since then, the company has developed a network of electrified depots to support fleet expansion. Among them is the Northumberland Park facility, described as one of Europe's largest electric bus depots. Across London, 13 Go-Ahead depots are currently equipped with charging infrastructure and host electric buses. Further electrification projects are underway at the Sydenham, Thamesmead and Stockwell depots, scheduled for completion this year, according to the press note by Go-Ahead."
