Abdullah Albadri, 34, is on trial for preparing terrorist acts after attempting to scale the Israeli embassy fence in London with two knives. He had previously arrived in the UK by small boat from France. The prosecution presented evidence, including a martyrdom note and messages to his mother expressing his intent. Albadri claimed to be a human rights activist but was allegedly focused on sinister intentions. He had been in contact with charities for asylum seekers before his arrest.
