Michelle Sadio, 44, was fatally shot outside the River of Life Pentecostal Church in Harlesden on 14 December 2024 while attending a wake. Guests, including children as young as five, stood on the pavement at about 21:00 GMT when a black Kia pulled up and shots were fired into the crowd. At least four shots struck the group. Kenneth Amoah, 39, was shot in the back and left paralysed below the waist. Kadeem Francis, 32, was shot in the foot. Four men — Perry Allen-Thomas, Shaquille Sutherland, Amir Salem and Tahjin Sommersall — deny murder and attempted murder charges. Two other men allegedly in the car fled the country and remain at large. The suspected intended target may have been a Willesden rapper and the firearm had been linked to other shootings.
