A man is seriously injured in hospital after being hit by a car. The incident happened in West Green Road near Green Lanes, Tottenham, just before 1am today (April 28).
Officers attended and the pedestrian was found injured and taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were assessed as serious but are not believed to be life-changing.
West Green Road, a busy shopping street, was closed briefly in the night but was open by 7.30am.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: Police were called at 00:54hrs on Monday, 28 April to West Green Road, N15 following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
