RNLI recover a body from the water off the Wexford coast

On Saturday afternoon, RNLI volunteers, supported by the Coast Guard Rescue 117 helicopter, undertook a significant operation off the Wexford coast. They retrieved a body believed to be male from the water just outside Wexford Harbour. The RNLI lifeboat was launched shortly after 2 PM, amid locals enjoying the pleasant weather. While it has been suggested that the body may have been in the water for an extended period, An Garda Síochána has indicated they cannot provide definitive details at this early stage.
