Rylan teases role in Doctor's Who's Eurovision-inspired episode
Briefly

Rylan Clark expressed enthusiasm about his role in the Doctor Who episode 'The Interstellar Song Contest', airing May 17. He received a BAFTA for Best Factual Entertainment for his show with Rob Rinder. Rylan anticipated a minor appearance, but was surprised with a 92-page script indicating his substantial involvement. The episode, where he co-hosts the Interstellar Song Contest, features The Doctor and other characters competing for a grand prize. It showcases a blend of Doctor Who's fantasy elements with Eurovision's celebratory tone, highlighting Juno Dawson's writing.
I thought it would be like a little side bit where I'm just going 'Oh hello!' and gone. And then I got like a 92-page script so yeah, I'm in it quite a lot.
It's an absolute honour to have been asked by Russell T Davies to be in the upcoming Eurovision-themed episode, The Interstellar Song Contest.
