
"An Ealing teenager who carried out a series of sickening and opportunistic sexual assaults on the Tube has been jailed, the British Transport Police said. Hadi Al Koumi assaulted four women in three days in August last year, with two of the attacks taking place within two hours of each other. Isleworth Crown Court heard how the 18-year-old first assaulted a woman in her 30s during rush hour on August 6, 2024."
"When she went to get on a train at St John's Wood underground station at around 5.15pm, Al Koumi crouched down behind her and sexually assaulted her, before running away. Two days later, Al Koumi walked up behind another woman in her 30s and sexually assaulted her when her train arrived at Green Park underground station at around 2.40pm. As the victim turned to look at him, he walked away, before looking back and winking at her."
"Less than two hours later at 4.20pm on August 8, a woman in her 40s was at East Acton underground station and was distracted by her phone. Again, Al Koumi approached the victim from behind and sexually assaulted her. Later that day at around 11.15pm, a fourth victim, a woman in her 30s, was on board a train between Greenford and Perivale station when she was approached by Al Koumi, who attempted to engage her in conversation."
Hadi Al Koumi carried out four opportunistic sexual assaults on women across London Underground stations and trains over three days in August 2024. He approached victims from behind at St John's Wood, Green Park, East Acton, and on a train between Greenford and Perivale, targeting moments of distraction or persistence. One victim threw a glass and called 999, and CCTV captured his images across all four offences. Police arrested him at Perivale on August 27. He received a custodial sentence, a six-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and a lifetime signature on the Sex Offenders Register.
