Farage will join Jenrick at a rally in Newark and urged prospective defectors to switch before May or face rejection. Badenoch called defections a 'minor setback, not a defining moment', accused some staff of briefing against the party, and vowed that those seeking to undermine or destroy the party would be dealt with firmly and fairly.
