Reform UK described Nathan Gill as ancient history and rejected that his conduct should taint the party or its supporters. Gill received a 10½-year sentence after admitting to taking around 40,000 in bribes for pro-Russia interviews and speeches. The payments were linked to Oleg Voloshyn, described by the US government as a pawn of Russian secret services.
