Labour presses Nigel Farage over alleged Russian hack linked to 5m donation
Labour has challenged Nigel Farage to confirm which authorities are investigating an alleged Russian hack linked to a reported £5 million gift he received. Anna Turley, Labour’s chairwoman, wrote to the Clacton MP urging him to publicly state whether he reported the suspected cyber-attack to either the police or the National Cyber Security Centre. Turley said Labour would make a report itself “in the public and national interest” if Farage does not respond. Reform UK said it has been reported to relevant authorities and that it would be inappropriate to comment while investigations are ongoing. Farage received £5 million from a Thailand-based crypto entrepreneur in 2024 and previously said the money was for non-political purposes including safety and security.
