Far-right activist Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, publicly endorsed Reform UK candidate Matt Goodwin in the Gorton and Denton by-election. Reform UK reiterated that Yaxley-Lennon is not welcome in the party and formally rejected the endorsement. Labour highlighted the endorsement to urge voters that only a vote for Labour can stop him, and Nigel Farage has distanced himself from Robinson.
