Peter Murrell pleaded guilty to embezzling more than £400,000 from the SNP, with the amended charge reducing the figure from over £459,000. A 126-page indictment lists hundreds of purchases made with the embezzled funds. Items included a Jaguar iPace, a Volkswagen Golf, a Niesmann+Bischoff motorhome, and a Celestron 1,199 computerised telescope with accessories. Purchases also included designer manicure sets, salt and pepper shakers costing over £2,000, toilet seats, and a coffee machine. The list further included DVDs, gaming items, and various collectibles and accessories, including a book of speeches by Nicola Sturgeon.
