Pollsters claim Reform UK is in decline' as lead over Labour drops
"From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground."
"A YouGov poll carried out on 21 and 22 December has shown that Reform's vote share has dropped by three points to 25 per cent, their lowest for more than six months. Meanwhile, both Labour and the Tories have gained two points, up to 20 per cent and 19 per cent respectively. Polling expert Professor Sir John Curtice noted that Reform have been on a steady decline since peaking at an average of 32 per cent in September."
The Independent deploys journalists across issues such as reproductive rights, climate change and Big Tech and produces documentaries like 'The A Word' spotlighting American women fighting for reproductive rights. The Independent provides free access to reporting without paywalls and seeks donations to fund on-the-ground reporting that speaks to both sides. A YouGov poll on 21 and 22 December shows Reform UK's vote share dropped three points to 25 per cent, its lowest in more than six months. Labour and the Conservatives gained two points to 20 per cent and 19 per cent respectively. Reform's support has declined from a September peak near 32 per cent, and the Conservatives are now losing 28 per cent of their 2024 support to Reform rather than 34 per cent. There is little consistent sign of a Labour recovery.
