Race begins in Galway West and Dublin Central as by-elections get underway

Two by-elections are set for May 22nd, following the movement of writs in the Dáil. Richard Boyd Barrett, a TD from People Before Profit, initiated the writ for the Galway West by-election to fill the seat left vacant by President Catherine Connolly. His call to action included the phrase, 'I move. Now get the posters up.'
