An 18-year-old man from Brentwood was charged with unlawful speed contests and reckless driving after being observed performing stunts in a parking lot. Officers from the county's Street Takeover Task Force witnessed the incident on March 9. Following a 12-day investigation, the vehicle was seized, and charges were filed on March 21. The task force was established in November 2024 in response to increasing incidents of reckless driving in the area. Residents are encouraged to report such behaviors to the police.
