"self-expression and self-reliance,"
"We got f-d too hard,"
"We need help to reopen."
"It's an absolute miracle,"
Burning Man drew tens of thousands to the Black Rock Desert for a nine-day festival marked by a major dust storm that knocked down tents, damaged art installations and forced temporary closure of event gates and a nearby airport. Intense winds reportedly injured four attendees and damaged pieces on the Playa. The gusts also collapsed the Orgy Dome, which displayed a whiteboard saying the structure was damaged and needed help to reopen. A woman who said she was unaware she was pregnant delivered a baby on the Playa, called "an absolute miracle." Organizers also faced a reported, as-yet unsolved murder during the event.
