The crash happened on Route 104 between Danbury and Alexandria on Saturday evening. The impacted moose appeared to fare better than the vehicle, while a Chevy Silverado pickup truck suffered heavy front-end damage. Police reported the moose was large enough to total the front of the Silverado, then stood up and walked away apparently uninjured.
