An Alexander Brothers Accuser Has Died
"Kate Whiteman, the woman who accused Oren and Alon Alexander of rape in a lawsuit in March 2024 and initiated a wave of similar allegations from other women, has died, according to the New York Times. Whiteman, an Australia native, was reportedly found dead in Australia late last year. She was 45 years old. The coroner in New South Wales didn't confirm a cause of death but told the Times that Whiteman's death was under investigation."
"In the civil suit she filed in 2024, Whiteman accused Oren and Alon Alexander of raping her in 2012 after she saw them while out one night in New York. Whiteman alleged that Oren, a prominent real-estate broker with Douglas Elliman at the time, and his brother Alon forced her into an SUV and drove her to the Hampton's castle owned by Sir Ivan Wilzig, where they raped her."
Kate Whiteman, 45, was reportedly found dead in Australia late last year; the New South Wales coroner has not confirmed a cause and the death is under investigation. Whiteman filed a civil suit in March 2024 alleging that Oren and Alon Alexander raped her in 2012 after forcing her into an SUV and driving her to a Hampton property. Another accuser, Rebecca Mandel, filed a suit alleging a 2010 rape by the same brothers. Multiple women later made similar allegations implicating their brother Tal Alexander. The brothers stepped down from leadership at their brokerage after the suits became public and were arrested on December 11, 2024 on federal sex‑trafficking conspiracy charges and Florida state sexual battery counts; the indictment alleged repeated drugging, sexual assault, and rape of dozens and included 11 counts. Oren was also charged with sexual exploitation of a minor for allegedly recording sex with a 17‑year‑old.
