At adoption event, shelter dog alerts man he is about to have a seizure
Briefly

During a recent adoption event in Virginia, a 3-year-old lab and pit bull mix named Sienna sensed an impending seizure in a man named Josh Davis. Despite being a stray rescued earlier, Sienna made a direct connection with Josh, who was exhibiting signs of an impending seizure due to missed medication. His wife, Kristen, witnessed Sienna's unusual behavior and swiftly attended to her husband's needs. Thanks to Sienna’s timely intervention, Josh avoided a full seizure, demonstrating the profound bond and intuition animals can have towards humans in distress.
"She saw him, and she started pulling on the leash very hard, which is not normal for her," said Jackie Poppe, a volunteer."
"He looked like he was definitely going to have a seizure," Kristen Davis said about her husband, who has epilepsy.
