Harrison Grant Randall, 40, was arrested in March and charged with six felony counts of defacing property for tagging Tesla vehicles with stickers of Elon Musk. Brookline police arrested Randall after multiple Tesla drivers reported vandalism, and one driver provided a video of a confrontation. In the video, Randall stated he was tagging the cars as a form of "free speech" and made critical remarks about owners' ability to afford the vehicles. Randall's attorney filed a motion in June arguing there was no evidence of malice. A pretrial hearing occurred in August, and the motion was approved on Oct. 15, leading to dismissal of the charges.
