The complaint against St Felix also stated that he threatened further violence against the couple."
"According to the Justice Department, at the time of the attack, the witness was shackled and seated at the detention center's booking area. St Felix was freed from his holding cell and landed a series of punches on the witness's head, face, and body, all while calling him "a rat." He was also said to have called his mother and girlfriend after the assault, gloating about what he had done."
Remy Ra St Felix, 25, was convicted as ringleader of an international crime gang and found guilty on nine counts for a string of robberies between September 2022 and July 2023. He was sentenced to 47 years in June 2024 and received an additional six years and ten months after assaulting a witness, bringing total time to over 50 years. Crimes included a violent home invasion where an elderly couple were restrained with zip ties and coerced to transfer cryptocurrency worth over $150,000. He threatened severe physical and sexual violence. After sentencing, he attacked a shackled witness at a detention center and gloated to others.
