A shooting incident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on February 15 in the 90 block of South Second Street in downtown San Jose. During a dispute inside a business, the suspect pulled out a privately made gun and shot the victim multiple times. The victim, a man, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a hospital. Employees at the scene restrained the suspect until police arrived. Sean James Jr., 22, from Elk Grove, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and gun-related crimes. He was booked into Santa Clara County jail.
