Eugene Mirman was involved in a serious car crash on March 31 when his vehicle collided with a toll plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. New Hampshire governor Kelly Ayotte, her security detail, and several bystanders rescued him from the wreckage. Mirman was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The police are investigating the incident, and no charges have been filed. Governor Ayotte expressed gratitude to those who helped and offered prayers for Mirman's recovery.
