"Just so grateful. That was terrifying,"
"And I had to skate after two incredible ladies brought down the house. I'm still just mind-blown."
Amber Glenn won her third consecutive U.S. Figure Skating title with 233.55 points, finishing ahead of world champion Alysa Liu, who scored 228.91, and Isabeau Levito, who took bronze with 224.45 and likely secured the final women's Olympic berth. Alisha Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov defended the pairs title with 207.71 points despite mistakes and a scary near-miss where Mitrofanov was nearly clipped by Efimova's skate; Ellie Kam and Danny O'Shea were second with 197.12. Efimova's Olympic eligibility is uncertain because she has a green card but not a U.S. passport, and efforts are underway to expedite citizenship before the team announcement on Sunday.
