""Our vision has always been to expand our fiber network throughout the Midwest and beyond and acquiring Fastwyre's Nebraska business is a strategic milestone in that journey," Great Plans Communications CEO Todd Foje said in a press release. "This acquisition strengthens our position in key markets, opens new opportunities for growth and builds on our 115-year history as a trusted technology partner in Nebraska."
"In May 2024, GPC announced that it had completed projects and begun operations to services - including symmetrical speeds as fast as 2 Gbps - to the Nebraska communities of Gretna, Papillion, Ralston, and additional areas of their existing Kearney footprint.
