De La Salle defeated Pittsburg to win the NCS Open Division high school football championship on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, in Pleasant Hill, Calif. The Spartans posed for a group photo with their plaque after the victory. De La Salle defenders Peli Pasa and TJ Finau celebrated after forcing a turnover on downs late in the fourth quarter. Defensive back Emery Speight also exulted after contributing to the turnover on downs. Running back Jaden Jefferson caught a 50-yard pass behind the Pittsburg defense during the fourth quarter. Duece Jones-Drew tackled Pittsburg receiver Xavier Fatu in the first quarter, while Pittsburg quarterback Javale Jones completed passes for first downs in the fourth.
