It's a disgrace that Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is a sanctioned fight
"Congrats to Otto,"
"The Viking Warrior!"
"I've never been hit like that,"
"Fury put a lot of weight behind his punches, but Joshua's shots were sharp, very hard and fast. Jake Paul can get hurt."
On Sept. 14, 2019, Otto Wallin fought Tyson Fury at the T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas, opening a huge gash above Fury's right eye and losing a unanimous decision that appeared closer than the judges' scorecards. Wallin is 28-3, turned pro in 2013, and has been stopped only by Anthony Joshua. Joshua broke Wallin's nose in December 2023, requiring surgical repair. Joshua's punches are sharp, very hard and fast and capable of causing serious damage. Jake Paul has only one fight above 200 pounds, against 58-year-old Mike Tyson. The Paul–Joshua fight is sanctioned by the Florida State Athletic Commission and carries significant risk to Paul.
