The Terrapins are 17-45 in Big Ten games under Locksley and 37-46 overall; the program has won 18 consecutive nonleague games. Locksley is under contract through 2027 with a $13.4 million buyout if fired this year. Athletic director Jim Smith will determine Locksley's status at season's end; Smith became AD in May after serving as Atlanta Braves senior vice president of business strategy. Remaining regular-season opponents include No. 21 Michigan and Michigan State.
