Anderson then allegedly said he had weapons in his bag. These turned out to be a barbecue fork and a circular steel blade resembling a pizza cutter, on inspection."

Mark Anderson, 36, entered the Metropolitan Detention Center at Sunset Park and identified himself to Bureau of Prisons staff as an FBI agent. He claimed to have a court order demanding the release of Luigi Mangione, the accused killer of health insurance executive Brian Thompson. Anderson produced only a Minnesota driver's license when asked for identification and told staff he had weapons in his bag. Staff inspected the bag and found a barbecue fork and a circular steel blade resembling a pizza cutter. Anderson had prior employment at a pizzeria. He was taken into custody and charged with impersonating an FBI agent.
