Missing Weymouth man found dead after blizzard
"The Weymouth Police Department announced Wednesday that 45-year-old Brendan L. Rogers, who was reported missing Monday, was discovered in a remote wooded area off the Fore River following an extensive search. Police said Rogers was last seen leaving his home on Commercial Street in Weymouth on foot at approximately 7:15 a.m. Monday."
"Rogers's disappearance came as a massive nor'easter battered much of the Northeast, dumping more than 18 inches of snow in Weymouth alone. After no public updates Tuesday, police said Wednesday that Rogers's body was located with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police, the Massachusetts Environmental Police, and other investigative units."
"Authorities said there is no indication of foul play at this time. 'Our deepest sympathies go out to Brendan's family, friends, and all who loved him,' the department added."
