Jake Paul was removed from the WBA cruiserweight rankings following a sixth-round knockout loss to Anthony Joshua. The knockout in Miami left Paul with a jaw broken in two places and required surgical repair. Paul had entered the WBA cruiserweight list at No. 14 in July after a unanimous decision win over 39-year-old Julio César Chávez Jr. He was listed at No. 15 prior to the Joshua bout.
