Aldo Castillo, 29, was convicted Feb. 6 of contacting a minor to commit a sex crime and arranging a sexual meeting with a minor. He was arrested after online exchanges with an undercover Dublin officer posing as a 13-year-old. The chats began when the purported minor posted about needing a hair blower and Castillo joked about getting one for a sexual favor. Castillo arrived at a Dublin movie theater with condoms and erectile dysfunction pills. A psychological study cited by defense described him as "immature" and stated he denied sexual interest in minors. Sentencing is set for March 10; Castillo remains out of custody.
