The motion challenges the Trump administration's decision to rename it The Trump-Kennedy Center. Beatty's attorneys argue that this renaming violates governing statutes and fiduciary obligations. The Kennedy Center's vice president expressed confidence that the court will uphold the name change and ongoing renovations, despite the lack of Congressional approval for the new name.
