Texas teen missing since Christmas Eve believed to be in 'imminent danger': Sheriff
"Investigators said they believe Mendoza Olmos left the residence on foot since her vehicle remained there and that the only items she took with her were her car keys and possibly her driver's license."
"Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar told ABC News on Sunday that sheriff's deputies and volunteers have been searching around the clock for Mendoza Olmos. Multiple agencies have joined the search, including the FBI, which is providing technical assistance, and the Department of Homeland Security, which is monitoring border crossings and international travel, Salazar said. "We definitely don't want to miss anything," Salazar said."
Camila Mendoza Olmos, believed to be 19, was last seen leaving her home on Christmas Eve morning. Security video captured a person believed to be Mendoza Olmos searching her vehicle around 7:00 a.m. Investigators believe she left the residence on foot because her vehicle remained at the home, and she reportedly took only her car keys and possibly her driver's license. Her last known location was the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest Bexar County. Law enforcement and volunteers are searching continuously, with the FBI and Department of Homeland Security providing assistance and travel monitoring. Investigators have not ruled out kidnapping, human trafficking, or voluntary departure. Authorities noted a recent mutual romantic breakup but do not suspect nefarious involvement among those close to her.
