However, he faced disappointment due to exorbitant ticket prices, with the cheapest U.S. match costing nearly $1,600. The U.S. opening game tickets exceeded $6,700. Compounding the issue, FIFA's confusing ticket sales process and the awarding of the FIFA Peace Prize to President Trump alienated fans. Many, including Malugani, are now choosing not to attend the tournament due to frustration with FIFA and political policies.
