Tiger's son, Charlie, fails to qualify for U.S. Open

Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, failed to qualify for the U.S. Open, shooting a 3-over-par 75. Though this was not sufficient for advancement—seven strokes shy of the 68 needed—Woods did demonstrate improvement compared to last year's performance, where he scored 9-over 81. Last year, he still managed to qualify for the U.S. Junior Amateur, although he missed the cut there as well. Arth Sinha led the qualifiers with a score of 6-under 66. The U.S. Open will take place at Oakmont Country Club in 2025.
