"To make the case that TV actor Timothy Busfield should remain in custody pending his trial in New Mexico on allegations that he sexually abused two 11-year-old twin brothers, prosecutors have revealed that there could be a third victim, a 16-year-old girl who auditioned for his theater company in Sacramento. The 68-year-old West Wing alum is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center outside Albuquerque, with his first court appearance scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday."
"In the pretrial detention motion filed Wednesday and obtained by People, another victim's father reported to law enforcement on Tuesday that Busfield had allegedly sexually abused his daughter several years ago in Sacramento. While auditioning for (Busfield) at B Street Threatre, the 16-year-old reported that (Busfield) kissed her and put his hands down her pants and touched her privates, the motion said, according to People."

The twin boys were child actors on The Cleaning Lady, which Busfield produced and directed from 2022 to 2025. A pretrial detention motion states the girl's father reported that Busfield kissed her and put his hands down her pants during an audition at B Street Theatre. The motion says Busfield allegedly asked the family not to report if he received therapy.
